The Director of RIA Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day wealth management operations of Earned Wealth, ensuring that our services are delivered efficiently and effectively. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can implement operational improvements, manage compliance and regulatory requirements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for client success. This role will report into the Chief Wealth Officer.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all wealth management operational functions, including billing, account maintenance, trade execution, reporting, and technology integration

Lead and mentor the wealth management operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional development

Manage day-to-day activities of our key vendors across our wealth management technologies, specifically our custodian(s), portfolio accounting platform, and our CRM

Develop, document, and implement operational strategies that align with the overall goals of Earned Wealth, enhancing efficiency and client satisfaction

Lead client billing activities, including revenue reporting to support monthly close in collaboration with accounting team and audit processes to ensure accurate billing

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of SEC regulations

Collaborate with senior management to set performance goals and monitor progress, making adjustments as necessary to achieve targets

Analyze operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement to optimize workflows and reduce costs

Coordinate with wealth advisors and the client service team to support client service initiatives, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients

Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting operational performance and strategic initiatives
Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

3-5 years of wealth management operations experience with a least 3 years of operations management experience within preferably a registered investment advisory firm

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful operational strategies that drive efficiency and enhance client service

Passion for building a better wealth management experience

Working knowledge of Fidelity Wealthscape, Schwab, Orion, Salesforce, and AdvicePay is preferred

Strong understanding of investment products, regulatory requirements, and compliance issues within the financial services sector

Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders
