Your role:
The International Tax Director will be part of a dynamic in-house tax department with both US and non-US based tax department personnel. The primary focus of this International Tax Director position will be tax planning; however, the position will also involve leading other aspects of Ingram Micro’s tax responsibilities around the world. The International Tax Director will have many cross-functional opportunities to partner with associates worldwide that span various business lines and entities to gain a deep understanding of Ingram’s overall business landscape. This includes partnering with other non-US based tax personnel as well as the US international tax compliance team.
The International Tax Director will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Tax, who has more than 30 years of experience in taxation.

Lead global tax planning projects from a US perspective.

Provide support to the transfer pricing team on cross border transactions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support acquisitions, divestitures and other business transactions, including cash repatriation and expansion into new jurisdictions.

Research US international tax issues.

Support the international portion of the IRS audit of the Company's US tax return.

Provide occasional support to the US international tax compliance team.

Assist the Senior Vice President, Tax, with projects that support business strategies and tax planning.

Partner extensively with the regional international tax directors for Latin America and Europe as well as various local country tax directors.
What you bring to the role:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Master’s degree in tax or accounting preferred.

10+ years tax experience to include Big 4 accounting and U.S. international tax in a large multi-national corporation. 6+ years of experience focused on international tax.

Demonstrated ability to manage projects on a cross-functional basis and the capacity to plan, execute and deliver on projects.

Strong research and analytical skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage and develop tax professionals

Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.

Has good judgment and the ability to positively influence decision making.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $166,300.00 - $291,000.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
