WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

 

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Demand Partnerships to oversee the expansion of demand footprint for the Emodo SSP in the advertising ecosystemYou will be driving all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, closing, and relationship management to get our new DSP partners launched and on a path to revenue growth. 

 

You will partner closely with Operations to ensure that DSPs are committed to integration and motivated to move through testing to generating revenueYou will play a key, cross-functional role at Emodo, educating product, engineering and leadership on demand-side trends and how to increase value for DSPs and buyersYou will play a critical role in contributing to the overall growth of the business.

  • Have a solid understanding of and familiarity with programmatic technologies and platforms

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Strategic Partnership Development 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to engage and expand DSP partnerships 

  • Identify and target DSP partners aligned with Emodo's market positioning 

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term partner relationships 

  • Negotiate partnership agreements with optimal terms and pricing 

Technical Expertise and Market Intelligence 

  • Serve as internal subject matter expert on Emodo's supply-side technologies 

  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape 

  • Analyze data sets, impression trends, and revenue metrics to optimize performance 

  • Translate complex technical requirements for DSP integrations 

Performance and Growth 

  • Track sales pipeline, revenue targets, and key performance indicators 

  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities 

  • Prepare regular performance reports and presentations 

  • Drive continuous improvement in partnership strategies 

Collaboration and Communication 

  • Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams 

  • Represent Emodo at industry conferences and events 

  • Provide exceptional partner education and support 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 4+ years of experience in ad tech, programmatic advertising, or digital media sale 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 

  • 3+ years of strategic partnership development in ad tech 

  • Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, and auction mechanics. 

  • Familiar with Expertise in header bidding, RTB, and OpenRTB integrations 

  • Strong negotiation skills 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights. 

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and build strong external partnerships.

Compensation:

The base compensation for this sales role ranges from $150,000 to $165,000, with variable compensation through a performance-based bonus structure.
