Summary of Position Functions

The Director of CCS is responsible for managing the resources and processes relating to the processing and collections of CCS and ensures that activities are performed in compliance with established policies and regulations. The Director of CCS is expected to manage in support of corporate objectives, maintain departmental metrics, and attain departmental revenue targets.

Essential Position Functions

· Holds all CCS Licenses

· Supports the T2 Sales team at trade shows and on sales calls.

· Provides all CCS quoting/estimating and stays current on competitive trends.

· Works with the Processing and Collections Supervisor to maintain and effectively leverage collection pools.

· Maintains, implements, and monitors established collections procedures to achieve the best results and to operate efficiently within company policies and procedures.

· Recommends and implements effective collections strategies. Effectively communicates collection strategies and policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and corporate collections regulations.

· Communicates with customers, representing counsel, or regulating entities in resolving problems that occur in the collections of accounts including responding to customer correspondence.

· Reviews collection reports to ascertain status of collection and balance outstanding and to evaluate effectiveness of current collection policies and procedures.

· Audits delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectible; ensures maximum efforts have been taken before assigning bad credit status to account.

· Reviews and approves adjustments to accounts.

· When necessary, makes outbound collection calls.

· Prepares and mails credit memos, vouchers, invoices, statements, and collection letters.

· Monitors staff productivity to meet the unit’s goal requirements on an individual and unit level.

· Directs and coaches the processing and collections team.

· Creates and maintains educational standards for the collectors, which will promote knowledge of our industry and the laws governing the collection business.

· Administers / manages incentive programs for staff.

· Manages various performance and productivity objectives through scheduling, payroll, compliance, and adherence to department and company guidelines.


Supervisory Responsibilities

· Directly supervises employees in the Processing and Collections department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with T2’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Education and Qualifications

· To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

· Bachelor’s degree; and at least five (5) years experience of progressive collections leadership experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Must be able to communicate well with individuals and groups.

· Must have the ability to make quick intuitive decisions within fast-paced environment and under stressful circumstances.

· Must have progressive leadership experience.

· Must understand collections philosophies and principles.
