LOCATION: Remote, US

REPORTS TO: Director, Card Growth and Risk Management

The Role:

We are looking for a world-class Credit Card Business Analyst for a role on our direct-to-consumer team supporting Sunbit’s Credit Card business.

This is an opportunity for a collaborative, analytical, and data-driven individual to support a rapidly growing product, key performance verticals, and the company P&L by leading projects and working across the organization to effectively drive growth, scale, efficiency, and an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

What You'll Own:

  • Conduct business and financial analysis to evaluate performance, determine strategy and prioritize opportunities, and drive successful execution
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, tech, analytics, marketing, and legal teams, to determine requirements and priorities
  • Coordinate and manage projects to successful delivery, on time
  • Determining appropriate credit limits and terms for credit card applicants
  • Monitoring portfolio performance and identifying trends
  • Recommending strategies to mitigate credit risk and optimize profitability
  • Research and identify new opportunities to grow, expand, and improve Sunbit’s products

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 2-4 year of relevant professional experience, preferably in Credit Card, Loans or other financial services (fintech/fast-growing consumer startup a plus!)
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into meaningful insights that drive successful business outcomes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL with experience analyzing and deriving conclusions from large data sets
  • Knowledge in Tableau, Python, R or SAS
  • Proficient in forecasting models like time series forecasting
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Intelligent, go-getter, ambitious, self-motivated, and hungry for success 
  • Experience cultivating credibility by building strong, collaborative relationships with internal/external business partners and peers
  • Organized and able to manage ambiguity and complexity
  • Ability to work independently and at multiple levels
