GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a Strategist (FPS Social) for our growing Strategy team. Please note, this position requires candidates based in the West Coast region of the U.S.
Our Creative Strategist dives into clients’ businesses, understanding their marketing challenges and proposing solutions. They love gaming, the internet, and partnering with creative teams to make cool stuff. They are fluent in the modern marketing landscape, culture of the internet, and on the pulse of the gaming audience. This role requires a self-starter who doesn’t need to be told how to take on tasks. They don’t see obstacles; you see opportunities.  
IMPORTANT CALL-OUTS
  • This is a hybrid role based in Hollywood, California
  • Experience working for an integrated or social-forward marketing agency is a must
  • Passion for gaming mandatory, and experience with FPS strongly preferred
  • Experience with social campaign rollouts, content plans required
  • Must be comfortable with writing and helping lead briefs for creative and content campaigns
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Bring innovative, fresh connections thinking to our creative and strategy teams
  • Identify key communication tasks and develop relevant connection ideas that come to life in innovative ways
  • Co-create inspiring, informative briefs for our creative teams, in collaboration with our strategy & data partners
  • Build strategic messaging & communications frameworks designed to inform where and how a brand ideally connects with desired audiences
  • Build campaign and/or user journey to inform high-order campaign ecosystem, phasing & channel needs
  • Partner with the measurement and analytics team to determine measures of success and synthesize findings to clear, actionable insights
  • Provide POVs on media and marketing tactics, collaborating with cross-functional teams and partner agencies when necessary
  • Use 3rd party research tools to refine complex information and data into key takeaways and/or compelling hypotheses
  • Prepare and give presentations on findings & recommendations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively contribute and bring your voice to the table

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have 2+ years of experience in integrated marketing at a creative agency (this is required)

  • Hands-on strategy and insights experience for creative campaigns 
  • Passionate about all facets of gaming culture, streaming, eSports, marketing

  • Ability to field and execute strategic requests, big and small, with varying timelines

  • Proven ability to lead briefings that inspire innovation and breakthrough ideas

  • Ability to productize strategy and think about how to use strategy as a business development tool

  • Comfortable tackling various projects at once and re-prioritizing as needed, day to day

  • Sensitized to when to push and when to pull back in client/creative communication

  • The ability to push beyond the assignment or the “ask”
  • A proactive, self-directed attitude towards work - not waiting to be told how to take on tasks

  • Command of ALL the ways brands connect with people today - traditional, digital, event, etc.
  • The ability to surface insights from data, research, and performance reporting

Please note that a job offer for this position will be determined based on many factors, including experience, unique skill set, other qualifications, location, job performance (current employees), and various business and budgetary considerations.

Annual base pay range for this position is below.

$75,000$90,000 USD
