Job Summary
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a skilled Contracts Systems Specialist to join it Contracts Directorate within the Finance organization. This position specializes in the management of data and focuses on collecting and maintaining critical contractual information for the Civil Systems Group (CSG).
Work Model
This position is hybrid work model offer partially remote with onsite work required typically three days per week at one of our main campus locations in El Segundo CA, Chantilly VA, Crystal City DC, or Colorado Springs CO.
What You'll Be Doing
- Overseeing the integrity of master contracts, operational contracts, Material Master (OTC), and other relevant data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards
- Partnering closely with Contracts team and S/4 HANA Information Services to develop and implement S/4 HANA configurations for reporting
- Managing contract data input and information within S/4 HANA system to include Dassian management of contractual data
- Exercising expertise in S/4 HANA and Dassian to enforce contract information data governance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including the Contracts team, to ensure accurate and efficient data collection and management within the Offer-to-Cash workstream, contract identification, reporting, metrics, and dashboards
- Managing sales condition records, fee rates, and time & materials (T&M) bill rates to support seamless and precise invoicing processes
- Maintaining the contract's clause library, ensuring accessibility and accuracy of contract-related documents and templates
- Facilitating the organization and categorization of customer, and customer group data, to enhance visibility and reporting capabilities
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define and implement flow down attributes, ensuring consistency and compliance across contracts and agreements
- Staying informed on industry best practices and updates related to contracts management within S/4 HANA and Dassian
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements for Contracts Systems Specialist III:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Five or more years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of master contracts, operational contracts, Material Master (OTC), and related components in the offer-to-cash workstream
- Prior experience with enterprise-wide ERP packages
- Strong understanding of sales condition records, fee rates, and time & material bill rates
- Familiarity with contract management best practices and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and system integrity
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and stay updated on industry trends
Minimum Requirements for Contracts Systems Specialist IV:
- In addition to the above, ten or more years of relevant experience
