Make Your Mark:
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Content Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ideating and writing high-quality, engaging content that supports our brand, demand generation, and customer engagement efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content that resonates with our target audiences, showcases our thought leadership, and drives measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is quality-focused and a strong storyteller with a passion for crafting content that delivers value to customers while aligning with our strategic marketing goals. You'll play a key role in amplifying our brand voice across multiple channels, including blogs, social media, email marketing, webinars, and customer communications.
You'll Get To:
Content Creation & Development:

  • Write, edit, and produce a variety of content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, social media content, and email campaigns.
  • Develop compelling content that supports integrated marketing campaigns across all pillars and solutions.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex financial and business concepts into accessible, engaging content.


Content Governance:

  • Work with content management system, including uploading new assets, auditing existing content for accuracy, relevance, and compliance with policies and standards, and maintaining a well-organized library so teams can easily find and leverage content.
  • Ensure that all content aligns with the brand's identity and messaging.
  • Maintain and update the content calendar to ensure a consistent and strategic publishing cadence.


Performance Tracking & Optimization:

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance across channels.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize content for engagement, lead generation, and SEO.
  • Work closely with marketing operations to test, measure, and improve content effectiveness.


Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including demand generation, product marketing, and sales, to create content that supports key business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and designers to deliver high-quality assets on time.
  • Work closely with the Sales Enablement team to ensure content supports the buyer journey and sales initiatives.


Brand Consistency & Messaging:

  • Ensure all content aligns with BlackLine's brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor content strategies to keep content relevant and innovative.


What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field and 2-4 years of experience.
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Strong understanding of current marketing and communication concepts, strategy, and best practices
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with using a content repository system or sales enablement system like Highspot
  • Knowledge of and experience using Wrike or other similar project management platforms
  • Exhibit a high level of drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment, and professionalism
  • Be a self-starter with solid organizational and planning skills
  • Must be a team player and collaborate well across departments


Other:

  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing content with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly

Salary Range:
USD $71,000.00 - USD $89,000.00
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
