Our platform is built by industry leaders with a long history in programmatic advertising, digital media, and ad verification who have now purpose-built a CTV performance platform advertisers can trust to grow their business.

Role Summary

tvScientific is looking for a creative, strategic, and hands-on Content Marketing Manager to help position us as the clear leader in CTV advertising. In this role, you’ll drive the development and execution of compelling content that grabs attention, builds trust, and fuels engagement with our core audiences. We’re looking for a storyteller with strong writing chops, bold ideas, and a track record of producing content that actually moves the needle — building awareness and driving demand.

What You'll Do

  • Content Strategy:
Lead our editorial calendar from idea to execution. Work closely with marketing leadership to identify content opportunities that align with business goals and campaign strategy.
  • Content Creation:
Craft original, high-impact content like blogs, guides, research reports, email campaigns, video scripts, and more. You'll ensure everything is on-brand, optimized for SEO, and stays fresh and relevant over time.
  • Owned Channels:
Own and grow our social media presence and newsletters — from content planning and writing to editing and performance tracking. You’ll also help launch and manage a performance marketing podcast.
  • Industry Insights:
Partner with both internal teams and external experts to stay on the pulse of the industry. Your work will help keep tvScientific’s content timely, authoritative, and valuable.
  • Champion the Brand:
Set and uphold editorial standards and brand voice. Collaborate with our Design team to ensure every piece of content looks and feels like tvScientific — and review content from other contributors for quality and consistency.
  • Event Content:
Develop compelling messaging, scripts, and presentation materials for webinars and live events.
  • Campaign Planning:
Support integrated marketing campaigns with strategic content creation and organized project management.

How We'll Define Success

  • High-quality content that boosts brand awareness, engagement, and pipeline
  • Growth across owned channels and stronger lead nurturing through smart content
  • A sales team that confidently uses marketing content to drive conversations and close deals
  • Streamlined content ops with an organized editorial calendar and up-to-date content library

You’ll Be Successful in This Role if You Have/Are

  • 5+ years of content marketing experience, ideally in B2B tech or ad tech
  • A portfolio that shows sharp, effective B2B writing across multiple formats
  • Experience with HubSpot, email marketing, and managing social media
  • Strong communication skills and a knack for visual storytelling
  • A collaborative approach and ability to partner with cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable moving quickly in a fast-paced startup environment

You May Also Have

  • Experience in ad tech, martech, or performance marketing
  • Familiarity with TV advertising, CTV/OTT, or the broader media ecosystem
  • Prior experience at a startup or early-stage tech company

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
