As a Global Community Strategist on Teamfight Tactics you will work with Global Publishing teams to lead Community efforts across campaigns, support evergreen community engagement, and roll out projects that support our vibrant, global Teamfight Tactics community. You'll uphold best practices, including Player-First communication standards, working within Riot's ecosystem to manage thoughtful content across social and influencer strategies alongside fellow craft experts. You will work alongside the team of Community Strategists that encompass all of Riot's IP, contributing to and executing the strategy to ensure we're all working towards the same goals when we talk to players and fans.
The Global Community Strategist (Teamfight Tactics) will report to the Senior Manager, Publishing Content Strategy, on the Product Management team.
Responsibilities:
- Co-Create across Brand, Creative, Editorial, Influencer, Social and PR teams to champion player-first ideas and build globally integrated campaigns and strategies
- Help develop the community strategy for players to create a central narrative that supports both product and brand values and goals
- Develop player-facing communications including articles, scripts, and patch notes at the campaign & evergreen levels
- Work with Riot's international community teams to provide feedback on localized strategies, and serve as the point of contact for international escalations
- Serve as the voice of players to product teams during both the development cycle and throughout launch marketing and live service operations
- Support and collaborate with development teams on player-facing opportunities across owned channel, social media, and community forums
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience working in and managing online communities - including social media, digital marketing, and influencer strategies
- Excellent writing & verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of community best practices, including communication strategies, user acquisition, and driving users through the funnel
- Experience developing custom community activations
- Deep knowledge of the gaming landscape and Teamfight Tactics, including the game and its community; bonus points for similar expertise with a variety of Strategy games & CCGs
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience developing strategies to localize campaigns for audiences around the globe
- Experience with collaborative campaign management
