Keeper is hiring a bright and talented Communications Intern to assist Keeper’s Global Communications team this Spring/Summer. This is a hybrid position for those living within a commutable distance to our global HQ office in Chicago, IL.

About the Role

The Communications Intern will be mentored by and report to Keeper’s Communications Manager and will be responsible for supporting the Communications team on daily tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Communications team with projects and daily tasks, including updating and maintaining media page, content creation for social media, announcement planning and execution, and writing for PR and internal communications
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism and creative thinking
  • Show a strong desire to learn along with a drive to succeed in assigned tasks
Requirements
  • Must have a strong desire to learn and professional drive to succeed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and be personable and dependable
  • Familiarity with drafting internal and/or external communications content including employee memos, press releases and media advisories
  • Experience creating engaging social media content
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to assist in administrative duties including updating media page on website
  • Interest in learning social media and traditional media analytics and performance metrics
  • Current enrollment in a related BS or master’s degree is preferred
  • Basic working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office Products
