As a Commercial Development Manager on the Mr. Handyman team, a typical day for you will include:

· Conduct a deep dive into the current state of commercial business, including revenue streams, client types, and project sizes.

· Identify key market segments and their specific needs.

· Research competitors in the commercial services market.

· Identify specific market segments with high growth potential, such as retail, office space, healthcare, government, and hospitality.

· Craft a compelling value proposition that highlights Mr. Handyman's unique selling points, such as reliability, quality workmanship, and comprehensive service offerings.

· Collaborate with NSPs, senior services, manufacturers/distributors, interior designers, and property management firms.

· Develop targeted marketing campaigns to reach decision-makers in target markets.

· Incentivize existing commercial clients to refer new business.

· Identify potential commercial clients using various prospecting methods, such as online research, networking, and referrals.

· Qualify leads based on their needs and potential fit with Mr. Handyman's services.

· Develop effective sales presentations that showcase Mr. Handyman's capabilities and address the specific needs of potential clients.

(Required qualifications)

Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of proven sales success and business development

Skills:

  • · Leadership oriented personality to meet or exceed performance standards
  • · Clear and precise communicator both in written and verbal communication
  • · Ability to communicate Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • · Self-starter. Ability to work autonomously with little support.
  • · High computer literacy including strong experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • · Ability to travel 10-20% amount of time
  • · Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
