Business Intelligence Analyst

West Penn Allegheny Health System, Inc. seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst. This is a hybrid work from home position with option that the employee can work from anywhere in the United States to interface with clinical, financial, operational, and subject matter experts to design reports, dashboards and analytics that accurately reflect business workflow and driven action. Duties include: (i) designing and developing customized reports and interactive dashboards using business intelligence tools and reporting tools like Tableau, SQL, SSRS and Power BI etc; (ii) analyzing data trends, patterns, and outliers to provide actionable insights, (iii) administering the analytics and reporting systems, monitoring systems performance, coordinating upgrades, tracking licenses, and creating and maintaining user documentation; (iv) collaborating with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, administrators, and IT teams, to understand business requirements and objectives; and (v) utilizing project management techniques for business intelligence projects and services.

This is a hybrid work from home position with option that the employee can work from anywhere in the United States.

Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Information Management, or a related field plus three and a half (3.5) years of experience in a related position.

Must also have any experience with or knowledge of: (i) programming tools like SQL, Python R; (ii) data analysis and managing experience; (iii) reporting tools like Tableau, SSRS, Power BI; (iv) relational database structures; and (v) using dimensional warehouse database structures.

Experience can be concurrent.

This is a hybrid work from home position with option that the employee can work from anywhere in the United States.
