What We Need:

As a Business Development Representative with iHeartMedia, you will be reaching out to Medium to Large businesses, setting appointments for the iHeartMedia Sales team to meet with advertisers about their marketing and advertising needs.
You’ll be paid a base salary commensurate with your experience, and will earn additional income from commission and bonuses, as well as have the opportunity to grow into a sales executive role with iHeart.

                                                                             

What You'll Do:

  • Set appointments: Generating new business opportunities by setting up appointments with potential clients, through cold-calling, seed emails, and social media.

  • Cold calling: Making outbound calls to potential advertisers in Southern California as well as throughout the US. 

  • Research companies and develop lead lists to whom you will make calls.

  • Utilize knowledge of all iHeartMedia products/assets; prepared to answer common client questions.

                                                                             

What You'll Need:

  • Possess strong communication skills, be able to interact with customers on their level.

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and communicate effectively on the phone.

  • Uses phone etiquette best practices.

  • Maintaining & obtaining customer information such as name, address, and email address.

  • Works well independently and has good at time management.

  • 2-3 years of experience in telemarketing and/or outbound sales.

Compensation:

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for commissions.
