Position Overview:
As a Business Development Consultant, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving growth. Your primary focus will be on seeking out and bidding on proposals that align with our strategic goals. You will leverage your expertise to identify potential clients, understand their needs, and create compelling proposals that showcase our capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opportunity Identification: Research and identify potential business opportunities, including RFPs, RFQs, and other proposal requests.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored proposals that address client needs and highlight our unique value proposition.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.

Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of Kaizen’s offerings and how they can be best presented in target marketplaces.
  • Proven experience in business development and proposal writing for public and private sector clients at the national, state and local levels
  • Strong understanding of the proposal process and best practices for winning bids – in domestic and international markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in market research and analysis tools.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
