This Summer/Fall Trainee position is from May/June through December 12th and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for entry-level talent or recent graduates interested in jump-starting their career in a particular field.

 

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: 

Corporate IT’s Intellectual Property Management & General Counsel POA has a sub-POA that focuses on the Music Affairs and Script Clearance businesses.  This includes programming and development, business and legal affairs, casting, music creative and business affairs and script clearance for Motion Pictures and Television productions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regularly support the application (as needed)
  • Create/update business process workflows
  • Communicate with business users to collect, review and analyze functional requirements
  • Turn requirements into user stories
  • Work with programmers to describe business needs
  • Test system functionality to ensure it meets specifications
  • Prepare status reports

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Science, Math or Engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well in a team and individually
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid interpersonal skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated interest in Information Technology

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of working in an agile environment

The anticipated base salary for this position is $22/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
