About the Associate Director, Program Management role

The Associate Director, Program Management will be responsible for handling day-to-day program management and communication, for a prominent B2B technology client. This role will be dedicated to managing said Client and multiple programs within the Client’s portfolio. This role will be the liaison between client(s) and internal teams on all strategy, markeiting initiatives, content development and production digital, and brand guidelines.  This position requires an extremely detail-oriented, proactive solutions-focused leader, who is well versed in managing multiple client contacts and multiple Programs/Workstreams across one master brand. B2B technology experience preferred.

As an Associate Director, Program Management, you will

  • Oversee day-to-day execution of client projects and the account(s) as a whole

  • Develop trusted relationships with day-to-day clients

  • Seek out a deep understanding of client's business to ensure work delivered meets strategic and technical requirements

  • Act as strategic advisor to clients on their business challenges 

  • Manage internal and client teams' expectations

  • Go-to person for internal team questions

  • Form trusted relationships with internal cross-functional teams 

  • Provide strategic and constructive feedback to cross-functional teams

  • Lead complex projects or programs and deliver quality work on time and on budget 

  • Adapt quickly to solve problems for clients and internal teams

  • Possess deep knowledge of risk management and mitigation

  • Flawlessly manage multiple projects, including resourcing, scheduling, vendor/contract management and hard cost budgets

  • Proactively identify and implement process/resource efficiencies

  • Know when and how to escalate operational, resource, budget or timeline issues, in-detail

  • Develop project approaches and drive scope development 

About you

  • You have a bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of professional experience in a related field

  • Able to work independently with little supervision

  • Ideal candidate will have previous experience managing content marketing lead gen campaigns and/or robust content creation workflows

  • Willing to coach, direct, oversee or review the work of more junior employees

  • Excellent strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Inspire positivity and confidence among interdepartmental teams

  • Manage and/or mentor junior team members

  • Contribute to departmental staffing and problem solving

  • Act as a leader in the department, proactively sharing lessons learned and best practices across teams

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail

  • Understand nuances of client communication and how to have tough conversations

  • Demonstrate accountability and eagerness to learn

  • Positive team player with a can-do attitude

  • Possess a positive presence within the agency

  • Drive the work forward and have a predisposition to action

  • Possess a passion for great ideas and technology

Pay Range: $83,000.00 – $110,000.00

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Material. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
