Job Description:
The Group Art Supervisor plays a pivotal role in leading and shaping the creative vision and strategy to deliver exceptional, award-worthy work. This leadership position involves overseeing the creative process, delegating tasks to teams, motivating them to achieve consistently high standards, and working closely with Client Services to ensure satisfaction with both the quality and value of our creative output.
Responsibilities:
- Lead art direction and design across a wide range of digital media, including websites, interactive visual aids, videos, banners, landing pages, and emails.
- Translate complex scientific information into visually engaging and memorable messages.
- Drive creative thinking and innovation for campaigns and initiatives that enhance brand identity and support strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with the Copy team from project inception through final delivery, partnering with Client Services and Project Management teams throughout the entire process.
- Lead and manage multiple projects independently, often spanning different brands and industries.
- Present creative concepts confidently to clients and internal teams, conveying the value and strategic insight behind the work.
- Take ownership of projects from concept to completion, ensuring the highest creative standards.
- Work independently under tight deadlines, handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Actively participate in client meetings, offering creative solutions and insights.
- Lead concept presentations and facilitate feedback discussions.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of client products, marketing challenges, and ensure creative solutions align with both strategic and client needs.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of agency experience, with payer marketing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, fostering team cohesion and client trust.
- Exhibit strong decision-making skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work well within team dynamics and independently when needed.
- Experience building rapport with clients and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial abilities, with experience mentoring junior talent.
- Hands-on expertise with core Adobe Creative Suite programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Proficiency with web-based and modular mobile design tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD.
- Motion graphics skills are a plus but not required.
This position can be performed remotely in all but the following locations: Colorado, New York City, San Francisco County, CA.
