This 3-month cohort is designed for people who have been away from work for two years or more and are looking to re-enter the workforce full-time.
Launching again in 2025, Aerospace will provide training, mentorship and networking opportunities to support skilled professionals get back to doing what they love!
Our hiring teams are typically looking for candidates with prior professional experience in:

  • Hardware and Electrical Engineering
  • Radar & RF Engineering
  • Systems Engineering
  • Cyber Security
  • Data Science, AI/ML
  • Software Engineering
  • Sensors and Optical Engineering
  • Program Management
  • Aerospace/Defense industry related work


To be considered for the Re-Entry program, applicants must meet the minimum qualifications:

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule (mostly onsite with some remote work) at one of our locations: El Segundo, CA; Chantilly or Crystal City, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; Houston, TX; Albuquerque, NM; or Huntsville, AL.
  • Current career break of two or more years (must be evident on resume)
  • Undergraduate STEM degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of four years of experience relevant to a science, math, engineering or technology field
  • Ability to commit to a 3-month, full-time position beginning Jan. 2025
  • Desire to be a full-time Aerospace employee at the end of the program
  • Preferably have held a security clearance, but not required. The Aerospace Corp. does require all employees have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, issued by the US government. US citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

We offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
