Job Description

As an AEM Expert Solution Consultant, you will lead engagements with our largest and most innovative customers. These engagements will span the entire customer lifecycle, from deep discovery phases illustrating how a customer’s vision and use cases can be realized using Adobe Experience Manager, to working with long-standing AEM customers, helping them understand the benefits of new features and integrations, and guiding them in leveraging these for their existing investments.

You will participate in and lead deep-dive architectural discussions, including but not limited to Adobe Experience Manager or Experience Cloud solutions. You will build complex software demos showcasing advanced-level use cases in Adobe Experience Manager. You will educate customers on all integration options, including both native and custom APIs. You will also collaborate with our internal partners—Solution Consultants and Customer Success Managers—to better understand prevalent customer issues and opportunities, allowing the AEM SC team to continue delivering greater value and impact.

What Current SCs Say About The Role:

Creative Position: "This position is the rarest SC position I have encountered. I have the charter, backing, and resources to shape the strategy for our team engagement model with clients. We are problem solvers, solution finders crafting groundbreaking digital marketing solutions."
Lifestyle Role: "What I love about the SC role is that it’s more of a lifestyle than a job. The focus is completely on what matters: how am I impacting sales cycles with my team and developing my subject matter expertise across the Adobe Cloud not how many hours am I in the office."
Work/Life Balance: "I've been an SE/SC now for 6 years at a couple of different companies. Adobe is at a different level in terms of personal development and work/life balance. The whole company shuts down for two weeks on top of the best PTO and flexible work schedule in the industry."

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated passion for digital experiences and/or cloud technology.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively verbally, in writing, and within presentations and demonstrations to C level executives within our client base.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in the content space through regular interactions with Adobe Experience Manager Product Management and Engineering,
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb concepts quickly while independently executing complex strategies leading to a technical win.
  • Foundational knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager or other enterprise grade CMS systems.
  • Ability to guide and recommend deployment architectures, sizing, communicate development lifecycle, tooling, and standard methodologies.
  • 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, or 2+ years of implementation experience with a CMS or Cloud based digital experience solution.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% (actual amount may be less)

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
