ALLIED GLOBAL MARKETING is seeking a full-time Account Executive for Multicultural Marketing. 

  

Public Relations Responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships with film critics, columnists, feature writers, bloggers, editors, television/radio hosts, producers, and reporters to assist with securing film features and reviews 
  • Manage local celebrity interviews, press tours, and publicity stunts \
  • Develop publicity angles and monitor hits to ensure extensive media coverage
  • Create social media initiatives that complement campaigns and drive awareness online 

  

Marketing & Promotional Responsibilities

  • Negotiate trade with television, radio, print, and online partners for coverage
  • Organize local events, screenings, and costume character tours to create buzz
  • Develop promotions with retailers to reach target demographics
  • Manage grassroots and word-of-mouth activity at high traffic festivals and events
  • Compile reports with photos, promotional ads, and collateral for clients on a weekly basis
  • Research and develop relationships with new promotional partners in various mediums 

General Responsibilities include

  • Develop strong client relationships and always meet client deadlines and exceed expectations 

Qualifications: 

  • At least 2 years of experience in multicultural marketing, publicity, and/or promotions field with a specialization in US Hispanic National and Regional Media outlets as well as General Market.  
  • Candidate MUST be Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or public relations preferred
  • Incredibly strong organizational skills with precise detail in prioritizing multiple projects
  • Stellar written and verbal communications skills to effectively influence the press, promo partners, general public audience, and all levels of internal staff
  • Strong creative thinker
  • Pitching ability; comfort and confidence to interface with high-level clients 

Details: 

  • Location: While this role is remote, we are prioritizing candidates that reside in the Los Angeles area for event coverage.
  • Salary: The salary range for this full-time position is $55,000-$60,000 annually.
  • Benefits: This position will be eligible to participate in the standard benefits offered to full-time employees of Allied Global Marketing (medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability and life insurance as well as 401k and Flex PTO). We also offer 10 company paid holidays.
