Position: Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful implementation of our energy efficiency program management software solutions.

Location: Remote, anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential utility clients in need of energy efficiency programs management solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of our software.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with utility clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales materials and campaigns.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet revenue goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in complex, long cycle technology sales, preferably in the energy efficiency or utilities industry.
  • Strong understanding of energy efficiency principles and utility processes preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and able to work virtually as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
