Essential Job Duties:
As an Account Executive 3 at BambooHR, you’ll play a key role in expanding our presence across the EMEA region. You’ll build relationships with decision-makers—such as HR professionals, department heads, executives, and CEOs—within your assigned territory. Your core responsibilities include driving new account acquisition, managing full sales cycles, and establishing lasting partnerships that integrate BambooHR into clients’ broader business strategies. Your understanding of the region’s unique challenges and opportunities will be instrumental in positioning BambooHR as a trusted and valuable partner.
In this role, you will:
- Manage Your Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain a strong sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and log activities in the CRM.
- Prospect & Leverage Referrals: Dedicate daily time to self-source leads through referrals and outreach to targeted contact lists.
- Build Business Cases & Nurture Opportunities: Create tailored, data-informed business cases and drive demand through strategic engagement.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Connect with executive sponsors and influence decision-makers by aligning solutions with business needs.
- Handle Objections & Drive Decisions: Anticipate and address concerns while guiding prospects through the decision-making process.
- Stay Informed & Competitive: Maintain deep knowledge of BambooHR offerings and market trends to effectively respond to competition.
- Support Deals & Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Coordinate with marketing, technical, and internal partners to move opportunities forward.
- Qualify & Strategize: Quickly assess buyer intent, gather key insights, and develop strategies to close high-impact opportunities.
- Target Accounts & Collaborate Across Teams: Prioritize key accounts and partner with internal teams to align strategies and meet goals.
What You Need to Get the Job Done:
- Experience: 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, preferably in a SaaS B2B setting, with a strong record of exceeding targets and managing complex sales cycles.
- Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work a 5 AM–2 PM MST schedule to accommodate international clients.
- Sales Expertise: Strong background in full-cycle sales, especially prospecting and lead development.
- Tech Proficiency: Experience using Salesforce, Google Workspace, and sales technologies to manage opportunities and track progress.
- Excellent Communication: Skilled in delivering engaging product demos, negotiating with stakeholders, and conveying value clearly and confidently.
- Drive and Resilience: Self-motivated, tenacious, and skilled in handling objections with professionalism.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate across teams and influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
- Growth Mindset: Receptive to feedback and eager to improve, with a proactive approach to applying new insights and techniques.
