TigerConnect, a Santa Monica-based clinical healthtech collaboration platform, has acquired Twiage, a company that streamlines pre-hospital communication and care coordination between healthcare providers.

The acquisition enhances TigerConnect’s portfolio by integrating pre-hospital communication and transfer center workflows, offering capabilities beyond what EHR-based chat systems can provide. By linking EMS operations with hospital care teams before a patient arrives, the solution accelerates time to care through the real-time sharing of patient information.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in New York City, Twiage facilitates communication workflows between EMS and hospital emergency departments, enabling hospital care teams to receive real-time patient information while a patient is en route.

Twiage CEO John Hui said in a statement: “Twiage was built on the belief that better communication leads to better care. Joining TigerConnect will allow us to expand our vision and bring our innovative solutions to a larger scope of healthcare systems. Together, we can make a more meaningful impact on how care is delivered, starting from a patient’s first point of medical contact.”

The acquisition is part of the TigerConnect’s broader strategy to enhance clinician productivity and extend care beyond the hospital.
