Imagine enjoying the people you work with so much that nearly half of your wedding guests are your coworkers.

For Daniel Rivera, this isn’t just a nice notion — it’s a dream that already came true. Forty percent of the guests at his wedding, including his officiant, were fellow teammates from Million Dollar Baby Co.

“That tells you everything,” the senior business intelligence manager said.

Rivera believes that Million Dollar Baby Co. is much more than a workplace; it’s a space where people experience tremendous growth, both professionally and personally. Since joining the company nearly a decade ago as a recent college graduate, he has had the chance to contribute to projects with real business impact while building long-lasting connections with his colleagues.

“When you’re solving complex problems by day and sharing a happy hour drink with your work family by night, you know you’ve found something special,” Rivera said.

What is your role, and what attracted you to Million Dollar Baby Co.? Describe the moment when you knew you’d found the right fit.

I’m the senior business intelligence manager at Million Dollar Baby Co., but my journey here started almost a decade ago, fresh out of college, in an entry-level supply chain role. Back then, I wasn’t just looking for a job — I was looking for a place where I could make an impact. What I found at MDB was a company that not only valued fresh perspectives but actively encouraged them.

There wasn’t a single “aha” moment that told me this was the right place — it was a culmination of experiences. Being trusted early on with projects that had real business impact? That was empowering. Having my voice genuinely heard in meetings, even as a new hire? That was validating. And then, of course, there was the fact that some of my closest friends to this day came from MDB. When you’re solving complex problems by day and sharing a happy hour drink with your work family by night, you know you’ve found something special.

What’s your favorite part about working at Million Dollar Baby Co.?

Why pick one when you can have all three? MDB isn’t just a company — it’s a culture, a launching pad and a place where you actually want to show up every day. Let’s talk culture. It’s not just the weekly happy hours, the rotating office DJ or the monthly celebrations, although those don’t hurt. It’s the real connections — many of my closest friends, past and present, started as coworkers here.

Career-wise, I’m living proof of the opportunities here. I started my career in supply chain, worked my way up to running our outbound operations, and when a new vertical in data and analytics needed to be built, MDB trusted me to lead it. That kind of growth isn’t just encouraged — it’s expected. If you have ambition and ideas, you won’t just be heard; you’ll be given the runway to make them happen.

What advice would you give to job seekers looking to join your growing team?

Come curious, come hungry, and be ready to make an impact. MDB isn’t a place where you clock in, do your tasks and go home — it’s a place where you get to build, innovate and actually see the results of your work. Whether you’re in your first role or a seasoned pro, if you have ideas, they will be heard. If you want to grow, you will be given the opportunity. And don’t be surprised if your coworkers become your closest friends. That’s just the effect at our company.
