HopSkipDrive (http://hopskipdrive.com) is a ride service to get your kids where they need to be when you can’t do it yourself. Created by three working moms who understand the challenges of getting kids to activities, and the safety concerns with putting their children in someone else’s car, our service is designed to be simple, convenient, reliable and safe.

Technology

HopSkipDrive is securely seated right in the middle of the rapidly growing Sharing Economy market.  We leverage aspects of Geographic Information Services (GIS), Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Machine Learning, Microservices, and Cloud Architectures, solving the current technical challenges of the day.

Responsibilities

* Reports to VP of Engineering

* Resolve defects and develop features on our services, web or mobile products

* Develop unit tests

* Develop functional tests against consumer products

* Write test plans for new and existing features

* Perform regression testing with the team

* Participate in sprint planning, daily scrum, retrospectives and brainstorming with the team

* Participate in developing a startup culture that focuses on quality, safety, and fun

Skill/Experience Requirements

  • Advanced developing web applications in AngularJS and node.js
  • Advanced CSS3, HTML5 and Bootstrap experience
  • SASS, gulp experience
  • Managing configuration, deployment and testing on Amazon Web Services
  • Developing units tests
  • Working with Agile workflows, tools and project management
  • Must be a clear and organized communicator
