Sr. Systems Engineer

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for Tinder’s Global Platform. Are you ready for a challenge?
What You'll Do:
- Build and scale our cloud-based infrastructure for a global user base
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of systems to ensure SLAs are met
- Collaborate with various engineering teams on design and expansion of our infrastructure
What You Bring:
- Experience solving problems at scale
- Solid understanding of networking principles - TCP/IP and load balancing
- Experience with kernel and network tuning for performance and stability
Bonus points if you have:
- AWS experience, including but not limited to EC2, DynamoDB, RDS, and ElastiCache
- Large scale microservice service mesh architectures
- Network request tracing, rate-limiting
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with Multi-Region service architecture
- Familiarity with Node.js/Go/Java - you don’t need to write it, we just need you to know how to read it
Requirements:
- 7+ years of strong Systems Engineering within the Linux ecosystem
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Containers
- Strong coding skills to write tools and automation -- i.e., Python, Golang
