Role
As our Director of Enterprise Applications & IT, you will lead the design, development, implementation, and management of our enterprise-wide applications and systems. You will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, enhancing user experience, and enabling scalable growth across all facets of our organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to align technology initiatives with business objectives and drive impactful outcomes. In addition, you will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for enterprise applications that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives. Provide visionary leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally to partner on and/or oversee the development, customization, and integration of enterprise applications, including GL, ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other business-critical systems. Ensure seamless interoperability and data flow across platforms to optimize business processes and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Define and maintain the enterprise application architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for modernization and enhancement of our application ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and partners to evaluate, select, and implement enterprise software solutions. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements to ensure quality delivery and value for the organization.
  • Establish governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for the deployment and usage of enterprise applications. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and industry best practices.
  • Champion a user-centric approach to application design and usability. Partner with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and preferences, driving adoption and maximizing the value of enterprise applications.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of IT staff and development team members. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability to drive success in the enterprise applications function.
  • Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment.

  • As our Director of IT & Enterprise Systems, you should have at least 10+ years of experience in enterprise applications management, with 8+ years in leadership roles, plus:
  • Deep expertise in enterprise software systems such as ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, integration patterns, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Strong understanding of User Experience discipline and User Interface development.
  • Experience in leading large-scale application implementations, upgrades, and migrations across complex organizational environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives, deliver results, and navigate challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • This position requires exceptional communication and technical design skills to drive innovation. Architectural leadership is necessary to ensure that applications are integrated with stated principles and standards.


Compensation
For Full-Time (Salary) US-based applicants: $230,000/year to $270,000/year + benefits + stock options
The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below) or equity in the form of stock options.
