The Business Development Team is where our company mission begins. In addition to serving as the first point of contact for prospective or current clients, the BDR serves two critical functions:

  • Increasing the Enterprise Account Executive's productivity by prospecting and establishing new and qualified customer appointments.
  • Directly impacting the success of the company through the ability to develop and effectively drive new and existing business.


TigerConnect is looking for a dynamic Business Development Representative to work within our Marketing & Sales Organizations to lead the prospecting of potential new or existing clients. Our ideal candidate will be a go-getter with an entrepreneurial spirit and an outbound "hunter" mentality. You will work closely with our marketing and sales leadership to network with new high level clients, exceed quota, and achieve successful execution of TigerConnect business goals. The ideal candidate will be determined, professional, and enthusiastic at the opportunity to break into the unique healthcare tech industry.
This is a hybrid position that will be a minimum of 3 days per week in our Santa Monica office.
What You'll Be Doing:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities such as cold calling, emailing, and social selling to generate new leads and build a robust sales pipeline
  • Engage with prospects via phone, email, and other communication channels to introduce TigerConnect's products and solutions, understand their needs, and identify how we can provide value
  • Qualify and assess inbound leads from various sources to determine their potential as sales opportunities
  • Partner with the Enterprise Account Executives and Account Managers to book value-based meetings and product demonstrations
  • Conduct thorough research on target companies and industries to understand their pain points, challenges, and market trends
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market developments to identify potential opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of our CRM system prospect interactions and sales activities
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified pipeline development


What You Bring:

  • Excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills to understand prospect needs and address objections
  • Exceptional written communication skills demonstrated through clear and concise messaging intended for doctorate-level positions
  • Self-motivated and target-driven mindset with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools; we use Salesforce and Outreach
  • High interest in tech, sales, and business development
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred


How we pay:

  • Total compensation for this role is comprised of a base salary and commission
  • We offer a competitive commission structure designed to reward for performance with accelerators and no caps
  • On Target Earnings for this position will be at $80,000
